The skies above Fiji are set to light up in colour this Thursday as we celebrate the Hindu Festival of Light – Diwali.
The Boatshed Restaurant at Vuda Marina Fiji has created a very special Diwali Cocktail to celebrate. The sweetly-spiced concoction is made using the Indian sweets traditionally shared during Diwali.
Blending the Indian sweet known as peda together with Fiji Rum Co’s White Chocolate Rum, Baileys and Brandy (yum!) the drink is garnished with star anise, a simple chocolate henna design and a giant jalebi.
The cocktail, known as ‘Tarala Mitha’ (which loosely translated means ‘ Liquid Sweets’) will be available for a limited time only.
So head on down to the Boatshed Restaurant at Vuda Marina for some Diwali fun as you ‘Oooo’ and ‘Ahhh’ at the fireworks as they light up the nights sky.
